somebody fwd to me this statement from an ignorant person,and he asked me to reply on him.and i am replying on a request from one of my brothers and my student,other than this i will never reply to this type of people.
so,i divide this reply into two sections :
1. explaination about this type of understanding for our religion.
2. the disasters and how we deal with it according to islam with the evidence from the alquran and the hadeth.
but before i start,i need to clarify a few things.
a) the statement from the ignorant man,came only because of that sms.
b) the statement inside the sms was wrong. what i mean is,the sms stated that the disaster strike japan bcoz they were anti muslims. but,this doesnt mean this type of disasters can't be punishment. bcoz the punishment not just
for the anti-muslims. the punishment can be for the anti-muslims or the kuffar who are not anti-muslims or the muslims who are sinners (bcoz of their sins).
c) the ignorant man, bcoz of his ignorance, he rejected everything including the right and the wrong without any distinguish. and i think its bcoz he is jahl.
d) the disasters not always a sign of punishment. sometimes the disasters can be a test, but this is only for the beleivers(muslimun), and we call it the "test disasters".
e) i will mention the evidence from the quran and the hadeth for all this points in the 2nd section . but like what u saw, the ignorant man didnt mention even one evidence from the quran and the hadeth to support his theory.
SECTION 1
1- u must know, those type of people they are emotional and the emotions control them 100% in most of the times. the emotion is something good but the right emotion comes after the haqq (quran and hadeth) not by ur opinion and by your thinking. this is bcoz u are a human, u can be right and u can be wrong. but the quran and hadeth can't be wrong, bcoz Allah's speech and the prophet's sallallahu'alayhiwasallam speech is the truth.
for example, what happened to the people in japan is something that makes the normal human feel sad,and sorry for them. and this is emotion, but it doesnt mean that the disaster wasn't a punishment for them. bcoz Allah and the prophet told us that if any type of disaster falls on the zalim, it means its a punishment bcoz of his zulm. and the evidence for that.hadeeth abi musa al-ash'ari fi bukhari wa muslim. qala nabi sallallahu'alayhiwasallam " Allah will gv time to the zalim, but when He wants to punish him, He will punish him bad like how Allah Azza Wa Jall punished the people before "
and if somebody said how the japan is zhalim?the answer is bcoz they are mushriks and kuffar,and the shirk is the biggest zhulm in dunya.the evidence for this, Allah said in surat luqman, "ان الشرك لظلم عظيم" it means,shirk is the biggest zhulm. The point is,the emotions are something nice but must be after the kitab and the sunnah. And u can't say something wrong or right except if u have evidence from alquran and hadeeth.
The ignorant man said, nobody can say this disaster is a punishment bcoz there's no new wahyu, and this is one of the signs of his ignorannce bcoz when we said the disaster is a punishment from Allah its not bcoz we got a new wahyu, but bcoz the wahyu already told us that. I mean, the prophet told us bout the disasters and how we deal with it according to our religion. Bcoz the disasters happened at the time of prophet sallallahu'alayhiwasallam and it happened even before the time of him, and we should deal with it like how he dealt with it.
2- Those type of ppl they look high to the kuffar bcoz they are ignorant bout the real meaning of this dunya. Actually, theres no comparison between the best kafir and the worst muslim. Absolutely the worst muslim is better than billions of the best kuffar bcoz he have tauheed but in same time he is a sinner. But the kaafer is kaafer,doesnt matter if he was good or bad. Allah cursed the kuffar without any distinguish,the evidence for this is what Allah said in suratunnisa' " Allah cursed the kuffar and He promised them the jahannam" And thousands of evidence prooved this, so its a big zhulm and mistake when u do comparison between the muslims and kaafir , its more worse when u make the kafir better than muslims.This shows how he is very far from the kitab and the sunnah.
3- Allah said in surat ali-imran " لا يغرنك تقلب الذين كفرو في البلاد - متاع قليل " this ayat shows us that "Allah Azza Wa Jall will gv the kuffar a good life in this dunya and they will have an easy life. So, dont feel jealous from them and dont be amazed with what We give them, bcoz its their dunya and in akherah they will be in hellfire. But the believers they will have a great life in akherah"
So,the people who look high on the kuffar and amazed by what Allah gives to the kuffar, they misunderstand this ayat bcoz of their ignorance. And in same time,they will look down at the muslims.
2nd section
The Disaster in Our Religion and How We Should Deal With It
1- like what we mentioned before, the disasters happen to two types of people, the believers or the disbelievers. So, if it happens to the believers u must know maybe its a punishment or maybe it's a test and they must know its a gift from Allah Azza Wa Jall to forgive their sins. And how they should deal with it,is be patient and make du'a and ask for forgiveness and try to fix themselves. But to the disbelievers we should gv them du'a so that Allah guide them to Islam and show them the right way,and we tell them what happened (disaster) was bcoz of your zhulm and u should follow the right way (Islam).
And the evidence for all this is hadeth Abi Hurayrah radiyallahu'anhu fil bukhari , prophet sallallahu'alayhiwasallam said " if anything happens to the believers doesnt matter if its a small matter or a big matter it forgives his sins and this is only for the believers"
2- Propehet sallallahu'alayhiwasallam told us already that there are things that Allah Azza Wa Jall will remind His slaves through His signs and miracles, like the eclipse and the earthquakes, especially near the end of time. like what was mentioned in hadeth 'aishah etc. in the story of eclipse when the son of the prophet died,then the eclipse happened, and the ppl said the eclipse happened bcoz the death of the son of the prophet. then the prophet said, no.the sun and the moon is just one of the signs from many signs to scare His slaves and remind them through these signs. and this hadeth is in sahihayn (in bukhari&muslim).
note : Actually this is a very quick reply for this statement and i cudnt give a long time for this statement bcoz like what u saw, dunya is full in his hearts and usually i dont reply to those type of people. Assalamu'alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.
