Shaykh Al-Albaanee: If it is permissible for her to ride a donkey, then it is permissible for her to drive a car. [Those present in the gathering laugh]
Shaykh: Is there anyone who says it is not permissible? Is there anyone who says that it is not permissible for her to ride a donkey? No. No one said this, rather, the contrary is said.
Questioner: Shaykhana, isn’t there a difference between her driving and her riding?
Shaykh: Which of the two is more concealing?
Questioner: Driving.
Shaykh: Driving what – the car or the donkey?
Questioner: The donkey.
Shaykh: The donkey is more concealing?! May Allaah guide you! [Shaykh laughs]
